Gatwick Master Plan Announced – 30% flight increase target
On 18th October Gatwick released its draft Master Plan detailing its growth plans for the next 15 years. Their plans are ambitious and are targeting a 30% increase in flights and a 40% increase in passenger numbers by 2028. These plans are underpinned by three key strategies – increased use of the present runway, developing the standby runway for regular use, and building a third operational runway. Each of these has significant implications for our communities

On our News page we have provided our immediate thoughts on the Master Plan. However, with the other Community Noise Groups, we are already working to further develop a cohesive response to Gatwick’s consultation.
As part of the consultation process Gatwick have arranged a series of “ exhibitions” with the closest likely to be Horsham, at The Barn, Causeway, Horsham RH12 1HE on Saturday 3 November, 15:30-19:30
